HR Assistant (Temporary)
The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant to join our team! This is a temporary contract to cover a maternity leave for 12 months.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the HR Director and supporting the HR team, the HR Assistant provides operational HR support. This individual will have excellent written and verbal skill; strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and motivated attitude. The successful candidate will also be highly organized and have the ability to complete tasks under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Handle full cycle recruitment process as assigned.
- May support day-to-day administration duties
- Assist with any company related events, such as career fairs or other social events.
Requirements:
- 2 – 3 years in a Human Resources related supportive role
- Post-secondary education or certificate in Human Resources preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously
- Valid AB driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
