Shop Foreman
The

Woodridge Ford Lincoln team!

Reporting
to and working closely with the Service Manager, the Shop Foreman will be
responsible for the overall productivity and quality of the entire Service
department. This includes technical service supervision and guidance, customer
service/quality control administration, warranty and repair management and shop
safety assurance.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Coordination of staffing schedules.
- Conducting and documenting developmental assessment meetings.
- Providing input regarding disciplining, terminating and hiring shop
employees.
- Performing routine line audits.
- Assisting in developing and implementing safety and training
programs.
- Assessing and managing Shop Comebacks.
- Dealing with customer disputes.
- Verifying and confirming the completion of road tests.
- Managing all warranty and retail repairs.
- Liaising with various automotive manufacturers.
The
successful candidate will be a proven leader with a customer service focus and
must possess the knowledge and skills to perform in a management capacity in
the absence of the Service Manager. Related technical experience, strong staff
relations, and the ability to multi-task is required.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in an automotive repairing capacity.
- General mechanical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person.
Requirements:
- A valid AB driver’s license and a current clean driver’s abstract
